You can define your catalog in a pricing.yaml file at the root of your project and keep it in git with the rest of your code. Orvlin applies the manifest to your account when the service starts. The deploy is idempotent: restarts and redeploys do not duplicate plans, prices, or metrics. Use the manifest for the catalog. Use the API for customers, subscriptions, and usage.

Structure

The file lists resources. Each resource has a kind:

Example

Each Price references a Metric by name, and each Plan references Price resources by name. Keep names stable: they are how resources are matched between deploys.

Local development

Run the development server with your manifest to test it locally:
See the CLI reference for the other commands.

Changing prices

Editing a price or plan in the manifest creates a new version. Existing subscriptions keep the version they started on. To move customers to the new terms, use a price migration or a subscription migration, as described in Subscriptions.
